Much easier to sew than the detail would suggest. I used pinwhale corduroy for one pair, and old drape fabric for the other, with contrast knee patches. Used quilting fabric for pocket lining (I used the same fabric to line to moto vest). Skipped the welt pockets b/c my fabric was a bit finicky. My doll has a bigger waist than some, so the pattern as drafted was too short in the rise. I cut the back a generous 1/4" higher and the front a generous 1/8" higher, and serged the edge instead of folding back a quarter inch. That gave me just enough for waistband to sit just below doll's waist. These are my favourite 18" doll pants. Will be making more.
I love this pattern! I use it for so many patterns. It makes great dress, casual, even cammi pants. The video helps me make sure that I don't miss a step. Thanks so much!
