The Faux Button Jumper is a simple pattern with detailing that looks complicated--but isn't! It looks like it has a front placket, but looks can be deceiving. The placket is all show, and the jumper actually has only three main pattern pieces, plus cut strips for Straps and Optional Pockets. Option 1 is an Easy-level project for newer seamstress or those who want quick results (no closures, no lining, no facing, no worries!). Option 2 is slightly more advanced, and is finished with a lining to accommodate lighter-weight fabrics. Either option can be made with or without the optional pockets.
The directions have been written comprehensively with many explanatory details for those who are newer to sewing. An experienced seamstress will probably be able to construct the Jumper just by reading the instructions highlighted in bold text. Happy sewing!

Cute jumper for Wellie Wishers, easy to follow directions, and a very quick project. Love this pattern!
This is such a fun little jumper. Although I design a lot of my own things, it's always refreshing to try someone else's patterns, and as always, this was a fun one to follow, with lots of hints and tips for making your design turn out perfectly. Super fun to play with colors for the pockets and buttons. Thanks for another great pattern!
This jumper is so so cute and I was expecting to love it. It was pretty easy to to make with pretty good instructions, though I ended up doing the hem differently...I just thought it made more sense to encase the lining by folding up the edge of the jumper so there were no raw edges at all. What I am most unhappy about is the fit. The gaps at the hips are way too big and poor Willa's underpants are clearly visible. I tried adjusting the straps to fix the problem, but that didn't help very much and just made the jumper too short. I will make this pattern again because it is so cute, but I will be using my own alterations.
