Painting can be messy, and your doll will want to protect his or her clothing with this cute artist smock. The smock has a fully lined yoke with a gathered skirt section attached to the yoke. The long sleeves have casings at the bottom in which elastic is inserted. Two huge pockets on the skirt section can hold your doll's paint brushes and other painting equipment.
The confident beginner will have the opportunity to learn such skills as easing in sleeves (flat construction), lining a yoke, etc. via the step-by-step instructions and photos included in the guidebook. This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18 inch dolls such as American Girl.
