Pretty baggy Result

I received this pattern a few Fridays ago and started to work as soon as I got it. The end result was not to my taste and seemed quite baggy, even though I followed the seam allowances to a T. I don't think I'll be making this dress again, but for a free pattern it was fine.

Time to celebrate 18" doll clothes

Absolutely love this pattern. Very attractive color combo and style. Fits great. I have sewn for years and have recently been using a pattern purchased at a fabric store. Then I received this pattern and couldn't wait to make it. Instructions very easy to follow. Everyone that wants to sew doll clothes definitely needs to start with patterns from Pixie Faire. Thank you

I am notoriously bad at sewing doll clothes from a pattern. I can design my own doll clothes, sew human clothes from a pattern, and I design historical costumes, but whenever I sit down to make a cute little doll dress from a pattern I always mess it up. I cannot even count the number of patterns I have tried. This pattern worked. It came out great and was quick and easy with no funny perplexing bits. Not only that - the same dress fits the skinny Journey Girls and Via E as well as the traditional AG doll. I am thrilled and will definitely buy other patterns from this designer.
