10 BACK-TO-SCHOOL ESSENTIALS
It’s nearly fall which means your doll will soon need all of those back-to-school essentials! We’ve rounded up the top ten school must-haves that your doll will need for the 2021-2022 school year. My favorite grade was eighth. Two of my teachers got together to have a “serious talk” with me. They told me that I was a very good writer and should consider careers that would use that skill. Previously, I assumed that everybody could write as easily as I could. It never occurred to me that it was any kind of skill or talent.
I really liked going to school so I have a few favorite years but after a lot of thinking I’ve decided to say that 5th grade was my favorite grade. I had two wonderful teachers who genuinely cared about all of their students and I experienced the pure joy of reaching a goal through hard work and dedication. In two years I went from being in the “below grade level” reading group to being in the “above grade level” reading group.

I’m torn between senior year and 8thj grade. Both meant a graduation loomed large. Senior year I was much more confident that I had a future.
I loved seventh grade – new and different subjects, and a wonderful home room teacher who also taught us copper enameling, of all things. And a Home Economics teacher who taught wood shop and metal shop as well as sewing and cooking!
