Freebie Friday, (June 6, 2014), Help Us Decide

Hi everyone,

On Friday (June 6, 2014) we'll have one of the following four patterns available for free. This week we're featuring Liberty Jane Clothing patterns.

Special Note: This week we are keeping the voting results a secret until the "big reveal" on Friday - so be sure to come back on Friday and see which pattern won.

More About Cinnamon Miles, Liberty Jane Clothing: Cinnamon is the co-founder of Liberty Jane Clothing and Pixie Faire. She strives to design on-trend clothing for American Girl® and other doll types.

Help us decide which one of Cinnamon's trendy patterns should be free by voting below. Then come back on Friday to see which pattern won and get the free download.

In Case You Missed It - Special Note: This week we are keeping the voting results a secret until the "big reveal" on Friday - so be sure to come back on Friday and see which pattern won.

Here is more information about each pattern:

The Malibu Libby Halter: The Liberty Jane Halter Top 18 inch Doll Clothes PDF pattern. Does your American Girl Doll need a  new halter top? This pattern guidebook is the answer! Liberty Jane has translated the fun and energy of the Southern California scene into the 18 inch doll market. Now you can make this fun top. It’s easy.

The Euro Libby Cortina Top: The Liberty Jane Cortina Top - 18 inch doll clothes PDF Pattern. Featured in the Fall 2011 Euro Libby Cortina Couture Outfit. The shirt features raglan style sleeves with tiered tiny ruffled an a nicely bound neckline. Top is designed to be made with a knit fabric.

The Malibu Libby Mini Skirt: The Liberty Jane Denim Mini Skirt 18 inch Doll Clothes PDF Pattern. Classic mini skirt style! If your AG Doll doesn’t want to wear a classic denim mini skirt, we’d be shocked! Have you asked her lately? Is she permanently stuck in 1774? Maybe you should let her out, just for an afternoon! If you take her to the mall, she’s going to see Hollister, then you’re going to be in big trouble. She’ll never want to put that long dress on again. So her knees show, is that really such a big deal when you’ve got pretty and lean plastic legs? It’s your choice of course, but we think she might like it! And the best part of course, this fun mini skirt is simple to make. Once you learn how, you can do dozens of variations with different colors and fabric styles.

Outback Libby Motorcycle Jacket: Does your doll need an on-trend motorcycle jacket? The Liberty Jane Motorcycle Jacket pattern is designed to fit an 18 inch American Girl Doll. It was featured in the 2012 Outback Libby Roebuck Bay Outfit. Are you nervous about doing the zippers? Don't be. This pattern is do-able! For more information on people's experiences read the product reviews on the pattern page.

I vote each week but find it hard to find the winner on Friday. I voted this week but never got the pattern. Should II be looking in my email?

I’m so excited! The moto jacket won!!!! This is only the 2nd time the pattern of the week was one I didn’t already have. I guess that means I have lots of patterns. I only have 5 large binders crammed full.

I love the motorcycle jacket. I think it will be challenging. I am trying to teach my granddaughter to sew and she has surpassed every challenge. I think this one will not only interest her, but challenge her also. Thank you so much.

Thank you for letting us vote for one of your beautiful patterns. They are so cute and adorable. I have purchased several and have voted on the freebie Friday. How fun! My Grandaughters have enjoyed choosing new patterns from your selections. They really enjoy sewing and are able to follow along when we use the Liberty Jane patterns and the other designer patterns that are offered. My twin granddaughters are ten years old and are learning to sew and follow sewing instructions through your patterns. Thank you again for sharing.

My vote is for the Cortina top. The little ruffles on the shoulders are so sweet. The leather jacket with the zipper going off to one side is not something I would sew. Thank you for offering these free patterns. I’m a senior on a fixed income; your patterns help me to sew quality doll clothes for charity projects and for my little niece’s doll.

I decided to vote for the motorcycle jacket, since I think I could draft my own pattern easily for the shirt, and the dolls over here could use some jackets.

Please people, vote for the motorcycle jacket!
With all the videos on line showing how to put in a zipper and a free pattern who wouldn’t want to give it a try. And with the great looks of this pattern and Liberty Jane’s great instructions this pattern should be on everyone’s got to have list. You might even be able to make it in some other fabric just to see how great it is without having to use ‘leather’.
Thank you for putting these jackets (bomber from last week) in the FreebieFriday for us to up our sewing skills. LibertyJane and PixieFaire rocks!!
