Hi everyone,
On Friday (May 12th, 2017) we will offer a pattern from Chris Saunders of Love U Bunches for free as a special one-day only event. We'd love to have you vote to help us decide which pattern will win, then be sure to come back Friday to get your free copy.
More Chris and Love U Bunches, (in her own words).
My journey into designing doll clothes patterns began in 2012 when my granddaughter decided she wanted an American Girl® doll. So I bought her a doll... and I bought one for me! Since she lives in Wisconsin and I live in Texas, I had to have my own doll so I could sew outfits and send them to her. My family was so impressed with the outfits that I was sending to her that they decided I should sell my patterns online. When I couldn’t think of an original name for my company, my amazing daughter-in-law came up with Love U Bunches because that is how I sign all the cards and letters that I send to my granddaughters: Love U Bunches, Grandma!.
More information about the pattern:
Simply Summer Sundress: It's hot outside! This darling little sundress by Love U Bunches will keep your doll cool this summer. Short, tea, or maxi length, it's just as cute as can be! It stitches up quickly and has lots of options for adding trim, beads, rick rack, or lace! Vote between one of these four fun versions:
Designed To Fit 14.5" WellieWishers®
Designed To Fit 18" American Girl Dolls®
Designed To Fit 18" Kids "N" Katz Dolls®
Designed To Fit 18" Journey Girls Dolls®
Take A Closer Look At Each Pattern:
Please be sure to leave a comment and thank Chris! Come back on Friday and get your free copy of the pattern and if you use it - share your pictures online us using the #pixiefaire hashtag.
Geez. I didn’t check for errors I thought spell check did it fr me. I started sewing in 2012 after not sewing for 40’years. In 201, she got Grace her family st AG doll. I bought her dolls grandmother Marie Grace.
Thanks for the pattern. I’m gonna make one for the doll and my stepdaughter. I picked sewing back from p in 2012 when mt stepdaughters mom moved her to California without notice. When we finally got to vist with her again. Just out of the blue she told me I had 2 sewing machines and she needed some clothes for her dolls. I started sewing doll clothes for her Madame Alexander dolls, then during her 6 week summer visit, she got her for rest Americans can girl doll Grace. This past Christmas she told me she has enough doll clothes for now. I loved the connection formed between us just by me making doll clothes. Thanks so much to Pixie Faire and to wonderful folks like Chris. My daughter created our company and called it “Nana rocks stitching it in Tennessee”. She was the president and I worked for her.
This pattern is great! I would like the AG one
Thanks for the pattern.
Thank Chris, I’m hoping for the Journey Girl but any of the patterns would be appreciated.
I received your email, but I also agree with you that 18"ssummer dress, maxi or tea, should be the winner. I liked it very much. Thank you!! [p.s.] I also liked the tea dress for the kitty! that would be adorable!!]

I am signed up for the Free Friday patterns and received several. My grandkids love them and eagerly await the patterns and since the patterns are wonderful to work with it’s a win win deal. I have not received the last 2. I tried to resign up and I get a reply that I am already signed up. How can I begin receiving them again.
