American Doll Dress

It was a nice pattern, and I especially appreciated the step by step directions. They were excellent, and the dress turned out really nice.

I love this dress!

Very cute style, and one I will make again. Made this up in a slippery rayon, and despite my fabric choice, the dress turned out so well. I did use a hem tape for the casing on the inside, since I picked a complicated fabric for tiny doll seams. I love how the dress fits, especially with several slightly different 18 inch dolls --my older style AG, my granddaughter's new AG, and 18 inch Madame Alexander.

Super Cute

I have made 3 of these already ! One in a Liberty print, one in a rayon print and another in knit. It is also an easy one for my daughter to get on her doll.

Little tricky but worth it

First try was an epic fail. Second attempt I used woven fabric. I didnt use lining either. Came out cute

Beautiful dress, but the directions

Beautiful dress, but the directions could be better. Make sure you understand all the directions before starting to sew. Very confusing directions to attach the lining, had to wing it but it came out beautifully. Personally, I will do the lining differently next time.
