This top has two really nice detail options (peplum or front pleat), plus the pleated sleeve, and they are pretty easy to do! The pattern is simple. I was able to create several different looks for my daughter's doll's fall and winter wardrobe in a short amount of time. Looks great with the six grade skirt.
This super cute little top sews up very quickly and easily. I made the one with the peplum and had no problems. I'd highly recommend it.
I've made both versions of this top so far, and they both came together very quickly and easily. Initially was worried about the pleats as I had never sewed one before but by the time I was finished didn't know what I was worried about. My daughter loves them and already I've been asked to make more always a good sign!!!
I have made two blouses for my Animator doll with this pattern and they both make me so happy!! I did one in an allover eyelet fabric with the wonderful peplum version and it looks like a party all on its own. The pleat front worked up lovely in a flowing rayon. Love this pattern - Love these dolls - love this blouse!!
