Found the pattern very straight forward. Made them for a BOY doll and as I did not have it on hand for fitting and after reading over the comments; opted to tweak the width of the legs slightly so they would go easily over the foot (total ½") as the fabric I used was that from an old pair of jeans that appeared, 'not' to have much stretch plus I chose to cut the waistband on the bias with additional allowance in length and added it on last to ensure it would fit. To conclude; since they were for a BOY doll and the fabric had a worn look to begin with, I distressed them even more by using the method of 'fabric shredding' positioned at about the knee(s), used a deep gold colour top-stitching thread and added faux rivets (iron-on ones) where they would be located on real jeans. All in all they turned out pretty cute yet still looked boyish if I don't say so myself.
Fit is perfect. Love them .
I loved this pattern. The pattern was well written with a lot of pictures. If you follow the instruction carefully you will end up with a perfect pair of pants. Be sure to use a very stretchy fabric. I used a pair of my own old jeans. Will definetly make more.
These jeans fit well and have great detailing. Easy to follow instructions.
I've used the pattern a few times with great success, but honestly, it is so similar to the other LJC jeans pattern that I felt a little gypped to have purchased a second pattern. I wonder why you couldn't just suggest a narrower cutting line on the leg. I expected something about the pattern to have changed but no, it is almost identical.
