Mini Space Patches Set 2 - Machine Embroidery Design by Genniewren Designs. Does your doll want to explore the darkest...
Made this pattern for the first time this week, and I’m totally in love! I don’t think I’ve ever made something for my dolls and thought “that looks exactly like something that would hang in my closet!” Every detail - from the front button placket to the yoked back - was just perfect. Because I wanted a looser, more casual fit, I did make the “boy” version for my girl (just putting the buttons on the appropriate side for a girl), and the fit was just right. There are a lot of details in this blouse (which is what makes it so perfect!), but if you take your time and follow the well written instructions carefully, it goes together nicely. (My fabric was an upcycled women’s blouse from the thrift store … perfectly scaled print, and that nice “wrinkle free” fabric - not to mention the $1 price! - made this a great choice of fabrics for this blouse.). Can’t wait to make another one!
All of the Pixie Faire patterns fit perfectly!
Very good. The waist is sized for AG dolls so I tapered the main pieces out to 1/4" extra at the bottom to give the extra 1" in total. Everything went together very well. Another time I would increase the seam allowance on the ends of the cuffs to make them easier to handle. It looks great on her.
