My favorite Pixie Faire course, tutorial, or pattern hack is the denim jacket class because its so well done that anyone can do it!
I’d love to learn how to serge as I sew. I find I wait till the wrong time and then it interferes with intersecting seams.
I’d love to learn how to add just patterns to any doll size.
I would love to learn how to make doll shoes – my attempts (even with “easy” patterns) always seem to fall short!
I would love to learn how to thread my serger correctly…..on the first try! I would also love to learn how to maintain and repair my own sewing machines.
I’d love classes on both the embroidery machine and the cricut! My favourite class is the Molded Hat class but honestly, it is hard to pick a favourite!
I would love to learn how to upcycle clothing to make doll clothes, how to re-use ribbed knit bindings, how to cut most effectively to minimize sewing, how to cut lace trimming to use on doll-sized clothes, etc.

I’d love to learn how to use my embroidery machine (hopeful that the class will take place!). My favorite Pixie Faire course thus far is the course on pleating, as I felt that it was a game changer for me not just with doll size clothing but also with other patterns as well.
Favorite pattern hack is the t-shirt variations. Use it all the time.
I’d like more help in printing transfers to fabric, and HTV iron-on transfers.
I’m surprised more designers haven’t made up electronic cutting file patterns, especially shoe, boot and bag pattern makers.
My favorite course was the felt molded hat class because I would never have attempted this method without some instruction. Love this basic hat as well as variations I have tried in my own.
My favorite SWC course was the organization one. It really helped me make better use of my fabric. I also love the hacks where Cinnamon shows how to redraw a pattern. I love the hats too. Oh dear, I love them all!
I can’t think of anything I need to learn – I’ve been sewing for 50 years. I love the MInion costume pattern hack/tutorial. I even did a resize to fit the Bitty Baby dolls!

My favorite tutorial was the LJ denim jacket. I would never have attempted that jacket without the sew-along. I was amazed that I was able to make it.

My favorite course is the Sewing With Upcycled Socks. I think the cropped cardigans are absolutely adorable! I purchased some really cute socks and I cannot wait to try something new. I would like to learn new ways to upcycle clothing because I am constantly donating clothes that have been outgrown.
I’d love to learn how to knit. The sweaters that you show are so lovely, and I know my granddaughter would enjoy dressing her new American girl doll in any or all of them.

My favorite Pixie Faire hack is sewing tiny pieces before you cut them out. Much easier to make smooth round curves.
My favorite Pixie Faire course was Sewing With Wool. Having lived in the southern states until recent years, I never learned to sew with wool fabrics. Now I can make a winter wardrobe for my girls.

After sewing for 40 years I became interested in making doll clothes for charity. I learned so much from the pattern hacks that I joined Sewing with Cinnamon to see if there was anything new I hadn’t learned yet. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the classes and got tons of inspiration and tips for working with small scale fashions. Just starting to venture into shoe making. Wish you could add more specialty notions to sell from your site so we would be sure they are the right ones for our dolls.
I would love to learn how to smock. My favourite hack is using socks to make clothing. I see some folks are looking to learn how to tat … it is something I love doing; I taught myself.
I often read through the other comments to find inspiration for how I would like to answer the questions. I too would love to learn more about hand smocking. I have done faux smocking using elastic thread but my sister used to hand smock baby dresses. Would love to learn how.
I’d love to learn to work on fine fabrics and finish the seams off neatly.
It’s a toss up between the gathering course and sewing with elastic. Even though I’ve gathered fabric for a long time, there was still something I had never done before. I won’t spoil it for someone who hasn’t seen it yet.
I like to learn to make button holes by hand. I’d also like to learn how to finish edges with a blanket stitch.
My favorite tutorial was how to insert a zipper. Ive inserted many zippers over the years but learned new techniques here.
I would like to see a pattern hack for converting from a Velcro back closure to buttons and buttonholes and to a zipper. Details of altering how much to add from the center back so that it works every time.
I like the hacks of changing sleeves to add the ruffles as well as making the tshirt dress from the tshirt pattern.

My favorite Pixie Faire course is Sewing With Upcycled Socks In-Depth Master Class Video Course because it shows and tells you how to make adorable doll sweaters with inexpensive socks you can get at your local Dollar Store.

First I want to thank you for the giveaways. This one would be exceptionally great to get. I have not seen this web site, but I am going to visit it. I love the patterns I have gotten. Haven’t made many of them yet, but the ones I have made I really like how they look. I don’t have a particular favorite pattern hack. They are very helpful in creating a new look to a pattern.
I too made a cardigan out of a long sleeve t-shirt pattern…turned out really well.
