Freebie Friday (April 11, 2014) Help Us Decide

Hi everyone,

On Friday (April 11, 2014) we'll have one of the following four patterns available for free. This week the theme is "Slip Into Spring" featuring the amazing work of Miche Designs.

More About Miche Designs: Artist Meg Paul is the World's leading 18 inch shoe designer. She lives with her husband Keith, two young boys, and their cat Lucy. She started collecting American Girl dolls when she was eleven after receiving her first doll as a gift from her Grandma. Meg taught herself to sew using Liberty Jane patterns and has always loved to work in miniature. She is passionate about designing beautiful shoe patterns for doll enthusiasts.

Help us decide which one of Meg's fun patterns should be free by voting below. Then come back on Friday to see which pattern won and get the free download.

Here is more information about each pattern:

The Strappy Sandals: Make two styles of sandals for your American Girl Doll, straight strap or criss cross design across the toe. This is a craft PDF pattern that requires a small amount of sewing with a sewing machine.

The Oxfords: Oxfords. You can choose to stick to the classic black and white or pink and white color scheme or go with the popular trend of bright colors and fun prints! Ths shoe pattern is designed to fit American Girl Dolls specifically.

The Pointed Toe Flats: Pointed Toe shoes are all the rage right now, so why not make a cute pair for your American Girl Doll! Miche Designs has designed this fun shoe pattern designed to fit 18 inch dolls just in time to compliment those cute spring outfits. The shoe pattern is designed to use woven fabrics like canvas, twill, tweed, corduroy, ect

The Clogs: The Miche Designs Clogs PDF Pattern designed to fit 18 inch dolls is just the thing to pair with those back to school outfits! Make cute shoes for your American Girl Doll today.

Thank you so much! The pattern for the pointed toe flats is adorable and looks so easy.
I can’t wait to try it out. Melody is always in need of more shoes, and this will be a simple yet professional looking way to make them for her. Thanks again!

I have made the Strappy Sandals and the Clogs. I am a visual learner and love all the photos that are in the patterns as they support the pattern text very well. I have not tried the Oxfords or the Pointed Flats yet. Thank you for all the awesome shoe patterns and the opportunity to get one free. I keep trying out more. Boots are next on the list already cut out and waiting to be made.

Love ur clothes for AGDoll & deciding which pattern should b free is totally awesome, however, hate the PDF patterns, they don’t print out right, don’t get all the pattern pieces & r unreadable. I’d love to see these patterns n paper, I’d b willing to buy at a reasonable price of course. Just a statement!

I thought it was only right for me to order a new pattern from you when you offered free ones. Sure hope the pleated skirt for the American Girl doll wins this week, as I purchased the Aspen dress pattern on March 28. I had a hard time trying to decide what my purchase would be, as all of your patterns are so cute. Right now, I’m wishing I had made a different decision as it looks like the dress pattern is ahead in the voting.

@Jean, that’s a version of a tee that is made from the T-Shirt Variations pattern – the higher neck tee pattern piece is used but it’s not hemmed. Instead you would just cut a small fabric strip to use as binding around there neckline.
