Hi everyone,
On Friday (November 11th ) we are offering a free pattern by designer Gaby Shearer. Gaby is the creator of the Originals By Gaby and Baby Mine brands. The pattern will be free starting at Midnight Pacific Time and free one-day-only.
More About Gaby Shearer and the Baby Mine Brand, (in her own words): I should have known I was destined to create doll clothes patterns when I started sewing on my mom’s sewing machine at the young age of 6. When I turned 8, she rewarded me with my first Barbie doll patterns, many of which I still have. I purchased my first sewing machine, an old Singer Treadle, as a newlywed. I was creating doll clothes and altering patterns to fit Madame Alexander dolls, then giving them away as I didn’t have children yet. Soon I had 2 daughters and created party dresses, play clothes and Halloween costumes. Now I’m retired and thoroughly enjoying my rekindled love of sewing and creating doll clothes. Publishing my patterns is an added bonus, but the real blessing is seeing the amazing outfits created with the use of my patterns. Happy sewing to all!

Thanks for contributing to Freebie Friday, Gaby Shearer. Your patterns are cute and trendy too. I voted for the Snappy Little Jacket. i think it will look great with skirts, pants, and dresses too. Very versatile. Your generosity is truly appreciated.
Last week, my granddaughter and I were looking at the Pixie Faire patterns for her 18 inch doll.
She was in love with the tri city knit dress and showed me how to make it. I have some knit that has different design in different places and all in same colourways. The tights will be in the light colour and the dress will be a combination of the darker and medium colourways and everything will “match”. That is how she wants me to make the dress for her doll. I think this 8 year old is looking forward to a career as a dress designer. Maybe this will be the time she learns to use my sewing machine
|Yes, I voted for the stunning tri-city dress and will sew it with her in her choice of colourways.. Thank you, Cinnamon..
The Snappy Jacket is my pick, love the variety. It can go from leisure to fancy, just have to change top and pants. Thanks for the free pattern.
Would love the snappy little jacket! It is so very cute. Thanks. I love Fridays!!
Thank you! I voted for the (18") Snappy Little Jacket, but would be just as happy with the Tri-City Knit Dress. Looks like they go together, so if one wins, I will buy the other!!
I voted for the 18" doll tri-city dress. Thanks for making Fridays special with a free pattern to sew.

I LOVE Fridays and you have just made this Friday extra exciting!!Last week I bought my first Bitty Baby pattern for my grand daughter’s new Christmas doll….. it was the Tri City Knit dress and circle leggings!!, I LOVE this pattern. I like so many options of the Tri-City Knit Dress for 18" dolls. It looks great to use as either a special occasion or casual dress or top. And even more ways to change it up with all the sleeve options. Best of all, it sounds like a good first project for using knits. Thank you for the variety of patterns :)
Gabby, they are all adorable. I chose the Tri-City knit dress & leggings for the 15" doll as I am getting ready to give away 3 refurbished dolls that size for kids at a neighboring school at Christmas. thank you so much.
