The Oxford Square Coat Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: This jacket was one of our most popular designs from the 2010 Fall Collection. If your doll needs a heavy coat, this is the pattern for you. Long mid thigh length coat with two front pockets, cuffed sleeves and a lined hood. Fabric used is a houndstooth fleece. Other types of fabric that can be used are: Corduroy, Wool, Felted Wool, and polyester blend suiting fabrics. This pattern also works great to make a hooded raincoat! You can see the example in the second image, pair it with the Spring Shower Rainboots for a darling look for your doll! To make this version the recommended fabric would be oilcloth or ripstop nylon.

Hooded Modo vest has my vote.
Hallo,
die Jacken sind alle so schön, da kann ich mich nicht entscheiden welche schöner ist! Ich lasse mich einfach überraschen… ganz lieben Dank!
WOW!! You,ve made my day—again! As will be by myself all weekend, waiting for my kids to make the trek home from the south, wil be sewing up a storm with the navitie set. I have collected extra used dolls for displays and kids when they stop by. I just turned 79 and live alone, so love to be able to do these projects you are so generious with. Love ya-
gert
Thank you so very much for the Le Marais Coast pattern. Got it on Friday, cut it out and will sew it up this afternoon! Soooooo appreciate Pixie Faire and Cinnamon Miles for giving us this amazing pattern!
I liked the Vest and the Oxford Square coat the best of all four.
I have gotten to where I love the hoods on coats. they keep so much coldness away
from your head, it is amazing. but those are the two that I chose as the best choice.
but, thank you, for which ever one you chose to give us. they are all great!!!!
‘cause baby it’s cold outside!
Thank you so much for this generous gift. Again! I am posting this after the fact. We know we get the Le Marais coat and it is just adorable. You rock, Cinnamon and all Liberty Jane!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Love the coat!
Wow…I am so excited!! I have just downloaded the Le Marais pattern. I can’t believe your generosity! Thank you so much for this and all the terrific patterns. I am off to my sewing room to create this beautiful coat.
Thank you so much for the pattern. Love this coat. I appreciate the freebie Friday patterns and your generosity.
Thank you for the lovely pattern.
Thank you for all the free patterns. I was so excited to see that Little Miss Muffet is now designing patterns for 18" dolls. I sewed for children many years ago and used their patterns at that time. Their patterns are wonderful1
I love the la marais coat so fitting at this time of year, dressy and cosy. thanks for all the patterns I do enjoy them all
The Le Marais Coat have my vote
I vote Le Marais Coat
love the Oxford Square
I have all but the vest and Le Marais. The pea coat and Oxford coat have already been offered. Thanks for the free patterns. I live this idea.
I LOVE the Oxford Square!!!
chose the oxford square jacket thanks so much for sharing .
Love the Oxford Square
I love all of them but vote for the Oxford Square. Thank you so much!!
I really love the Le Marais coat.
Le Marais got my vote. Already got the Peacoat and Oxford Square pattern and they were really fun to sew. I love making coats and jackets for the dolls.
I voted for the Le Maries coat because it’s the only one I don’t have and it’s super cute!
OXFORD square, love the hood option. Thank you
This one will be close I bet !
I voted for La Marais, its the only one I don’t have.
Thanks Cinnamon
I think the Oxford Square coat is my choice this week. All of the patterns are great. Thanks for offering such great patterns each week
I voted for the Le Marais.
I voted for the Le Marais.
Love them all but I vote for Oxford Square. Thank you for your generous gift of a free pattern. Excited to see which one tomorrow.
I love the look of the Oxford Square coat, but any of the patterns I would be thrilled to have. The Oxford square I think has a slight edge to my vote. Thank you.
Love the Oxford Square jacket! Have the perfect houndstooth flannel for this! And this is the perfect jacket for our weather outside today! : – ) Thanks so much Cinnamon!
I had a hard time deciding between the vest and the Oxford Square. Thank you for the patterns.
I voted for the vest. I have most of the other choices. I think this would be so cute with a pair of jeans.
Voted for the vest since I have all the others! Thanks again Cinnamon!!
The vest is the one I do not have!
Love making coats in the winter. I picked the LeMarais coat because it looks like a fun project to make. And the challenge is inviting.
Love them all and would be happy with any…but I’ll vote for Oxford Square. I’m new to the site my first time voting…and I am so excited to have found you. Got an order ready to place for the Wellie Wisher clothes. Thanks so much for the free patterns.
Not a difficult decision for me. I have the Pea Coat, the Oxford Coat and the Marais coat. Stunning, but a lot of work. Granddaughter loves the Moto Vest. She told me that it is really cool and that the cool kids at school are wearing them. We;ll go with “cool”. Thank you, Cinnamon. We appreciate the freebies.
What a tough choice, I want them all as they are all such beautiful designs. Thank you for offering a free pattern each week. I’m a newbie sewer and I’ve learned so much by using the patterns here on Pixie Faire. The Oxford Square coat gets my vote this week, I’d love to make a rain coat.
Oxford Square for me.
As usual, a very hard choice! They are all so cute! I vote for the Oxford Square this time. Love the idea of using the pattern for a raincoat, too! Thank you so much for all you do!
Like all of the patterns offered this week, but wasn’t the Piccadilly Peacoat a winner of the Friday Freebie not too long ago. I know I own it. My vote goes to the Le Marais coat.
Love the Oxford coat. Thank you for your generosity
Since I live in Florida, I’m going with the Moto Vest. Really like the Oxford, but for our normal (not counting the occasional, freezing cold “not normal” we sometime get) winters, the vest is more “Florida”. All a girl would need is a long sleeve tee, a stylish scarf, and she’d be set!
I vote for the Le Marais coat. Thank you.
Love the Le Marias Coat… beautiful lines and so cute!
Thank you Cinnamon. Oxford Square please.
I vote for the Moto Vest. It is such a current design. I would omit the buttonholes and close it with 2 small squares of Velcro topped with non functioning buttons where the 2 lowest buttons currently sit. Again, thank you for your generosity.
My vote is for the LeMarais coat.
Thank you!
je vote pour Piccadilly Pea Coat très jolie veste le dos avec les plis modèle très couture
j’aime beaucoup
bonne journée amicalement paulette
These are nicer than my coats
The Piccadilly detail is lovely. Thanks so much for the opportunity to vote
Easy! Kings canyon for sure! It’ll be great for the boys as well!
I voted for the Le Marais coat. I have the patterns for the Peacoat and Oxford Square already. Thank you so much for sharing.
Voted for the Vest, it hasn’t been on Freebie Friday. And a very interesting design. Looks like a real thing.
I love all these coat patterns, which I have all except for the Hooded Moto Vest. I’m voting for the vest. CUTE!!
Love the Oxford Square
They are all lovely but I vote for the oxford square hooded jacket. Thank you!
I love this- it always introduces me to patterns i might otherwise overlook.
I like the Marais coat.
This week my vote goes to the Le Marais coat. I do love the Hooded Moto Vest, but somehow I have to go with the more classic Le Marais design. Thank you Cinnamon for your lovely offerings as they make both Wednesdays and Fridays a day to enjoy.
I already bought all the coat patterns, otherwise I would vote for a coat. I am voting for the vest as that’s the one I don’t have. Thank you so much no matter what wins, as they are all winners!
I voted for the Oxford Square Coat. Thanks Cinnamon!!
Always so generous! These patterns are all so cute!
Really tough choice! Thank you for being so generous each week.
I voted for the Piccadilly coat! Thanks for all the patterns!
Las Marias coat or the double breasted navy coat with the pleats in the back. Love them! Thank you.
I love costumes, and I really love the Le Marais coat, but I realized I’d likely make the peacoat, but not Le Marais. A girl that age needs a good school coat, after all.
thanks again, the vest with hood is on my wishlist!
Thank you so much for the free patterns every week. I love all of these patterns but voted for the pea coat.
All of the patterns are really cute, I’ll be happy with any of them. THank you so much, you always make Friday mornings fun and exciting!
I like all but my vote goes for the Oxford Square with the hood. You gals are pattern making gems. Love to all
Thank You for each of your patterns!!
Because I love the hood on the Oxford Square coat I’m voting for it…but I would be more than happy with any of the four choices. They are all wonderful.
Because I love the hood on the Oxford Square coat I’m voting for it…but I would be more than happy with any of the four choices. They are all wonderful.
Peacoat is sharp.
Thanks for the pattern.
I’ll be happy with any of them! I did vote for the Le Marais, though.
Thank-you, thank-you, they are all really awesome patterns by Liberty Jane!
I voted for the Peacoat! Its adorable, and I don’t have any of them! Thanks!
Thank you for the lovely choices
Love the moto hooded vest!!! Can be adapted for all seasons. Versatile
I already have the Piccadilly Peacoat & the Oxford Square. I like the La Marais coat
My granddaughter says she likes the moto vest the best! So that is my vest!
Love the Piccadilly! the detail on the back is wonderful
I have to vote for the Oxford Square Coat. So cute. I would like to make for for my granddaughter too. Just like the one on the pattern. Thank you for all the fashions.
Oh my goodness, what an exciting selection to vote on. I have my fingers crossed for the Marais coat, and the moto vest is so much with or without a hoodie and the other coats are so cute, I may need to purchase a few more dolls. Thanks for sharing your talent and for sharing your fantastic patterns. Only 2 more sleeps til Friday, can’t wait!!! Thanks again.
I love Le Marais Coat!
Like Diana H, I voted for the vest because I have the others. Thanks again!!
All of these patterns have Cinnamon’s stamp on them – details, details, details. That’s what makes them all SO realistic! I voted for the Le Marais coat since I have had my eye on it for a very long time! Thank you Cinnamon for sharing your talents and generosity. Formerly, Fridays were my least favorite day; however, now I really look forward to them and visiting this website!!!
Voted for the Le Marais coat, since I have the others. From the looks of the comments, I may be out-voted this time, but thanks for your continued generosity week after week!
Oxford square
I vote for the Oxford Square coat pattern. Just love the hood on it. Thank you so much Cinnamon. Pixie fair is the best !
I have 3 of the 4, so my vote is for the Oxford Square. I love the ones I have and I know this one would be great also.
Love Le Marais Coat!
