Many of you have large collections of dolls, or sew for someone who does! We'd love to know more about the time period or era your dolls live in. Are they historical, if so from which era? Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is really love them all. As all patterns can be adjust just a bit to suit Wh a t your wanting. I would love to see patterns for more service oriented careers. It would help sparkle interest in those careers and for respect in those who choose those careers to serve and protect.

My favorite era of clothing is modern day mostly. My girls are Karito Kids, Bonnie Pearl, Gotz and BFC ink. For BFC I like boho and also gothic/medieval.
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is really split between 30s-40s super tailored styles and 60s-70s styles. I’d love to see a pattern for clothing that supports my daughter’s imaginary play—career oriented clothes for doctors, vets, astronauts, business people, hair stylists, and on and on. Clothes for my kid to put on her doll and then pretend to do normal everyday stuff. Also a good, non-cheesy 60s-70s inspired pattern set. Oh, and also some ethnic types of costumes for various countries and cultures would be fun.

I really love all the modern patterns on Pixie Faire, but I haven’t been very impressed by the historical outfits created by American Girl lately, so I’d love to see more historical patterns on Pixie Faire, especially Victorian designs. Thanks for the great question – I hope some designers might be inspired by some of the great suggestions I’ve seen in other comments here since there are so many goof ideas!

My favorite era is the Victorian Era…would love some dress patterns from fashion dresses back then but I would also like some patterns for boy clothes of our era now…from under wear on up…Have not been able to find a pattern for under ware or boxer shorts for the 18" Boy Dolls… Thanks for the chance to win the beautiful doll.

It’s hard to pick a favorite era as each is special in it’s own way! However, I love the clothes from both the medieval and Victorian eras. I would love to see some patterns for these times, or even “elvish” style clothing from Lord of the Rings adapted for dolls :D

My favorite era would have to be the 1930’s. They didn’t have a lot, so they had to be creative with what they had and the clothes show it.

My favorite era of clothing would have to be in the late 50’s and early 60’s. I remember the full skirts and loved to twirl around to make them flair out. My grandma did a lot of sewing for me when I was a little girl. I remember sitting in her sewing room watching her sew my clothes. My mom bought a slip that had a tube around the bottom that if it had air in it, my skirt would flair out like no other. Dresses were popular and were worn all the time.

My Favorite era of clothing is the timeless beauty of the Heirloom styles, Smocking, puffing, pintucks, lace shaping, & getting back to basics in French hand sewing. Patterns that feature French laces & heirloom fabrics. All my girls are dressed in this type of clothing.

My favorite era of clothing would be the 60’s because it covers a time period that brings in late 50’s styles and goes into the early 70’s, allowing for traditional 50’s little girl styles, and late 60’s to early 70’s “mod” teen styles.
I would love to see a basic pattern for pull on shorts with a wide leg, almost an A Line looking shape.

My favorite era for doll clothes is Edwardian. I would love to see more dresses with high waists and puff sleeves.
