My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the 30’s and 40’s, although I’d love to see a pattern for a 1980’s dress, Simplicity E.S.P 6061. My mother made one for me out of similar striped material and I loved it.

My favorite era of clothing Is the late 40’s & 50’s, because they remind me of the clothes my mom made for me & my sisters; also the modern day styles. I’d love to see patterns for more boy outfits also some of the dresses worn by Scarlet O’Hara. Thanks again for all the beautiful freebie Friday patterns. I have about 4 dozen or so of your patterns & have used them many times over.

My dolls are modern but the clothes I make for them are usually anything but. I like almost anything pre-1900s particularly Tudoe, Colonial/Revelutionary, Civil War and regency eras. I also like doing ethnic clothes. I sew for AGAT and H4H/Wellies. I would really love to see more historic and ethnic patterns for the H4H/Wellie size dolls

My favorite style of doll and little girl clothes are the simple dresses of the 1920’s and 1930’s, often enhanced with embroidery, lacy trims, matching panties, and often a pinafore, to change the look. I treasure my childhood pictures, and while much of what I had as a little girl had been made over from another dress of a cousin, or even my mother.
