Many of you have large collections of dolls, or sew for someone who does! We'd love to know more about the time period or era your dolls live in. Are they historical, if so from which era? Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

My favorite era of clothing is 1920’s- I’d love to see a pattern for 8 gored tea length shift with optional beading and matching cloche hat, or a dropped waist dress with beading and velvet shoes with beading.
Love the styles of the early 1900’s. Trouble is my grand kids like the more current stuff and the glitz as well of course. So, in my attempt to please that is what I mostly sew.
I love 1940’s, shoulder pads and tailored fit, the skirts and Jacket with matching shoes and hats.

My favorite era of clothing Is the late 40’s & 50’s, because they remind me of the clothes my mom made for me & my sisters; also the modern day styles. I’d love to see patterns for more boy outfits also some of the dresses worn by Scarlet O’Hara. Thanks again for all the beautiful freebie Friday patterns. I have about 4 dozen or so of your patterns & have used them many times over.
I love historical costumes – Victorian or Edwardian. I’d love to see a young girl’s outfit from either of these periods.

My dolls are modern but the clothes I make for them are usually anything but. I like almost anything pre-1900s particularly Tudoe, Colonial/Revelutionary, Civil War and regency eras. I also like doing ethnic clothes. I sew for AGAT and H4H/Wellies. I would really love to see more historic and ethnic patterns for the H4H/Wellie size dolls

My favorite style of doll and little girl clothes are the simple dresses of the 1920’s and 1930’s, often enhanced with embroidery, lacy trims, matching panties, and often a pinafore, to change the look. I treasure my childhood pictures, and while much of what I had as a little girl had been made over from another dress of a cousin, or even my mother.

My granddaughters have AG dolls and I’ve been wanting Nanea for myself..Pixie Fair has the best clothes and it is hard for the girls and I to decide what to make next. Happy New Year to all your staff.

I love to sew all kinds of styles for American Girl. But I also have a collection of all the Disney Animator Princess dolls. I guess that would be under Fairy Tale era? I see a lot of patterns for princess outfits, and it would be fun to see some made for Disney Animators (and something for Kristoff from Frozen too).

I volunteer with a lot of children from refugee camps. Most of them are from African and Middle Eastern countries. So, I would love to see something from today that has an ethnic inspiration. Something like Afropunk or the Japanese Lolita style would be AMAZING!

I like every era of clothing, but I am getting into the 1930’s style for women now. Especially the style that Amelia Earhart would wear during her casual free time. Loose, but fitting pants, & a top based on that style would be nice for 18 inch dolls

Oh dear favorite era? It would really have to be for Adult clothing the late 1800’s when Steam Punk first came into being but not known as that … Then for the 18" dolls it would have to be 50’s and 60’s for the dresses and swimsuits they had that I have modernized with a few tweaks and updated materials.

My favorite era of clothing is that of the art deco period of the twenties and thirties with the fancy gowns, frills, feathers, and boas. The jewelry was fabulous! Kids fashions were adorable. (think Shirley Temple)

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the 30’s and 40’s, although I’d love to see a pattern for a 1980’s dress, Simplicity E.S.P 6061. My mother made one for me out of similar striped material and I loved it.
