Cinnamon & Pixie Faire Team
I sew and knit as a hobby making and dressing toys and dolls for charity and my family. I have been spending about 7 hours a day since retirement and lockdown doing this.
I just startet sewing as a Hobby. Yet I sepent about 5 Hours on it, but it doesn’t really work good for me. I tryed a Schultüte for my chile.
I sew, quilt and crochet. Lately doll clothes have been my passion. The amount of time varies but when I’m in a sewing phase it is a couple of hours a day until the project is done!
I sew as a hobby about 8 hours or so a week. I help out friends, make a few charity items, but am really interested in smocking and French hand sewing, which take quite a bit of time. Making doll clothes using these techniques is a quicker way to learn new methods.
I sew primarily as a hobby, making clothes for myself and family, but I do sell some of my sewn items on Etsy along with vinyl decals. No doll clothes though, but I have made a few Pixie Faire doll patterns for gifts for my niece’s ❤
On average, I spend about 10 hours a week sewing (or preparing to sew 😉).
I love to sew. I make a lot of quilts. In the past year I just started making 18” doll clothes. Wish I had more time for it. It’s hard when you have a full time job but I sew every chance I get.
I sew and quilt as therapy/self care and usually spend around 20 hours a week.
I see as a hobby and spend about 20 hours a week in my sewing room. I makes quilts, smaller quilted items like table runners and table toppers, purses, tote bags and home dec items. I also make pillowcases and face masks for the local hospital and homeless shelter. Currently I am making lots of doll clothes for my granddaughters. I don’t sell my creations.
I sew, quilt, and crochet mainly as a hobby and making things for family. I craft as often as I can but the number of hours varies.
I make bobbin lace as a hobby on average, I spend 4 to 5 hours a day at my pillow. I am currently making a doll Chantilly lace shawl.
I sew primarily as a hobby. Right now I haven’t sewed as much as I like as I have had cancer surgery as well as my daughter and my mom is currently taking chemo. Not only have we dealt with covid but all of these issues as well. Hopefully 2021 will be a better year
I am into sewing each of my grandchildren their own quilt, plus I do cross stitch, plastic canvas, make Christmas ornaments with my grandchildren so they can have new ones for the Christmas tree in years to come they will all have a their own precious set that they each helped their Nana make. I like to make DYIis to put in my yard to make it more beautiful to look at while sitting on my patio in the summer time. Thank you for the giveaway I have been wanting to order things from Etsy shop now maybe I will have a chance to.
My passion is studying my family history and recording it through photography. I have times when I spend many hours per week and other times when I have no moments to spare to devote to it.
I primarily sew purses for Sew Powerful. I also do a little mending for other people.
I sew primarily as a hobby but also to make money for a feral cat charity. On average, I spend about 7 hours per week sewing.
I do have an Etsy shop but it mainly sells the cat items for now. I would love to sew doll clothes for money someday, but can one really get the money back for all the time and money spent?
I love to sew, crochet and garden when I can fit it in my busy schedule of housekeeping, family, job and grandchildren. It is all hobby. I mend clothes for family, make crafts, clothes and doll clothes as gifts. I come from a large family so I run out of time as it is.
I knit and crochet primarily as a hobby and to relieve stress. On average, I spend about 2 hours/week knitting or crocheting. I prefer to knit lace shawls and scarves, and I usually give them away as gifts.
I sew mostly aprons and cloth story books for my grandchildren as a hobby. In my home economics class in high school, our first project was to design and sew by hand cloth story books for infants. I had so much fun that I continued over the years giving out to friends and family.
Since I don’t have a sewing machine, I sew aprons and story books for my grandaughters as a hobby. My first sewing project in high school was to design a handmade cloth book for babies and I became hooked on designing and sewing them for friends and family.
I didn’t lime sewing g when I spent hours looking at my mom drafting the patterns and maki g pretty and fancy dresses for me. Little did I know it will be o e of my passions as I do the same for my daughter. Recently she asked for some clothes for her dolls and I found myself being a fan of pixie faire as I found new ways to do it with easy directions to follow. Even my mom now has been enjoying checking out the directions and looking at the pretty doll apparel. This is only a hobby as I don’t really do this with the purpose of selling but just for the joy I see on my daughter’s eyes and how proud she feels. Who knows, maybe she will do the same as I’ve do e one day.
I’m strictly a hobby sewer, and my favorite thing to sew is 18 inch doll clothes. I’m retired snd my grandchildren have long since outgrown dolls, but it’s easy to find somewhere to gift them. So, win/win. No clutter to carry over into a new year, and happy kids. I probably sew 2-3 hours a day, but I don’t keep track because… retired.
I sew doll clothing and clothes for myself primarily as a hobby. I sew sporadically depending on my schedule up to 7 hours a week. I have an Etsy shop it’s called urimori.

I sew primarily as a hobby , but occasionally sell my items on Etsy

I knit and crochet lots pretty things (although I have a particular fondness for making hats), and sew whatever strikes my fancy, particularly lots of doll clothes. It’s mostly a hobby, but since sometimes I sew up to an average of 20 hours a week (and crochet whenever I’m watching TV), I’m going to need to start an Etsy store to share all those cute and cozy creations.
my passion is the internet it’s the future of education, entertainment, and business ,buying, selling, marketing, distributing, and everything in between
I love to sew primarily as a hobby and spend and average of 20 hours or more sewing from my home. I do not sell items from Pixie Faire patterns but I have made Christmas presents from them in the past for my grand-daughters. I have also been sewing face masks and my husband has set up a web page that we have not activated yet. Just getting started. I have been a seamstress for over 40 years, sewing wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, I’ve even made a suit coat for my husband, that was a task but it turned out awesome. I made a pair of jeans for myself once…just once! I am too meticulous and it pains me to take something apart so I don’t do intricate sewing anymore. Your patterns are adorable.
I sew primarily as a hobby for my home and family on average. I spend whatever time I can spare on my sewing hobby.
I sew and sell doll clothes and accessories at local craft fairs and markets, and I would like to open an Etsy shop someday. I spend a couples hours every week sewing.

I sew knit and crochet primarily as a hobby and do list a few bits for sale on average, I spend every waking hour doing either of the crafts …”

I see as therapy, a hobby, and asa business. The joke in our house has been that “I see so I don’t kill someone!” Lol! For years, my kids encouraged me to sell what I would sew and quilt. A few years ago, while my husband was out of work, I pulled out my “stash” and made 42 quilt tops without buying a thing! I’ve made witch and Santa wreaths and sold them to help make ends meet. I love working from home, doing what I love! It’s the best therapy there is! And though it’s just as costly, at least others benefit from it!
I would love to win this so I can help support other home based crafters and sewers!

“I sew primarily as a hobby. On average, I spend 4 hours a month.”
I sew doll clothes for my 2 daughters. I spend no where near the amount of time I’d like to, but I’m hoping to start teaching my 10 year old to sew too! Then we can make it together.
I see primarily as a hobby, but I do sell some items, on average I spend 20 hours a week.
I sew doll clothes primarily as a hobby. On average, I spend not enough time as I’d like.
I sew primarily as a hobby. On average I spent 12 hours a week sewing.
I sew, knit and crochet as a hobby on average 12 hours a week.

“I sew primarily as a hobby, on average, I spend not enough time on it…..”
Thanks for the giveaway, i am sure I can find something I need….
I sew for dolls mostly as a hobby; but I do seamstress work and dressmaking on commission as well. Depending on the time of year, I can spend from a couple hours to a full eight hours daily: so anywhere from 8 hours weekly to about 30 hours. Prom and wedding seasons are my busy times. I don’t have an Etsy shop yet, but I am planning on opening one over the next year.

I sew for several different kinds of dolls but as a hobby. I do not have an etsy shop and don’t usually sell my things but I enjoy sewing for my dolls and for friends dolls.
