I made my first historical doll dress when I was nine, entirely by hand, and gave it to my best friend for Christmas.Over the years I’ve enjoyed sewing doll clothes as a hobby, and continued the tradition of giving them as gifts to my friends and family. I just opened an Etsy shop for my work in November, called A Stitch in Time’s Line. I recently purchased a few patterns from Pixie Faire which I am looking forward to using soon. I’ve used a I spend about 2 hours a day sewing, give or take.

I sew primarily as a hobby. I am just learning to knit; it will probably take me a week or two to finish this doll sweater. I spend a good part of my day either sewing, knitting, or cleaning my sewing area. It’s good therapy.
“I sew and knit primarily as a hobby. On average, I spend about 2 hours a week, but I’d love it to be more.

I mainly make doll. Clothes. It is a hobby. I am quite obsessed with it actually. I have dolls in many sizes. They range in sizes from 4" to 22". I don’t sell my crafts any longer. I did when I was younger. .It is hard to estimate how many hours I dedicate to this hobby because when I am not sewing for my dolls I am thinking about sewing for my dolls and searching through my stash and looking through my patterns or dropping in on Pixie Faire to see if there is another pattern that I just can’t live without.
I see when the need or mood arises. Next up baby doll clothes for my granddaughter
I sew primarily as a hobby but have been wanting to sell for income. I was sewing several hours daily in mask making months in spring 2020 and burned out.
I sew doll clothes and mask. I usually give them away but will occasionally sell some. I mostly sew for fun.
I sew and knit primarily because I LOVE to create; my fingers get bored if I don’t have some project in the works! When I started sewing for 18" dolls for my nieces, I had an "aha!: moment….this was a business for my ‘retirement’. I’ve been sewing doll clothes now for ten years for my website www.yourdollscloset.ca . I’ve built up a large enough inventory and fabric stash that I sew now when the mood hits me (LOL then watch out!!).

I do sell items made from Pixie Faire patterns. I have an Etsy shop, it’s called Melinda’s Closet Finds.
I sew and crochet primarily as a hobby for relaxation . On average, I spend several hours a week at it, sometimes more, as much as I have time for. Sometimes the sewing is hemming or repairs (which I don’t enjoy…lol) but mostly for fun. I also enjoy paper crafts and making greeting cards.

I craft 4-5 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Knitting, crocheting, doll-making, sewing, quilting, machine embroidery, cross-stitch, and pattern hunting/filing and studying tutorials. At the start of the stay at home orders I made masks, I probably gave away 1,000+, but I did sell some through Etsy. Again while it would "seam” this means I profited, truly it paid only for the materials. The real profit was the feeling of doing whatever I could to help out.
