Probably the hardest part of this project is picking out which fabric to use -- as long as it's soft and drapey, the sky's the limit! A little bit of stretch doesn't hurt, either. I made two scarves -- a skinny one out of gray knit (I cut a strip off the bottom of an old t shirt) and a wider one out of a silky polyester blend.
Let's get started!
Cut a rectangle 26" long by 4.5" wide (or 3.5" wide, if you want a skinny scarf).
Fold your fabric into a tube, right sides together, and sew. Leave 2-3" open on both ends.
Turn the tube right side out, then take the two short ends and pin them together. Be sure you have the right sides together!
Press that seam open (at this point you should have a loop -- hooray!) Then, fold under the remaining raw edges and pin the opening closed. Topstitch to finish.
Now, all that's left is to start working the scarf into your doll's wardrobe... :D

Same concept works for a headband out of spandex or Lycra. Use a 12" X 2" rectangle.
Was just scrolling through the site for some cute little tutorials and came across this! I love infinity scarves, and many tutorials I’ve seen for these scarves are very tedious and long. Made one already, and came together in a snap! Love it!
