Description Of Each Hearts For Hearts Girls® Doll: Here is a brief description of each of the Hearts For Hearts Girls® dolls:
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Nahji: Nahji is a smart and determined ten-year-old girl from Assam, India. In her community, girls go to work and marry very early in their lives, but Nahji wants something more. She convinces her parents to let her go to school, helps her family create their own garden market, and visits local 'tea clubs' to encourage other girls to take charge of their own lives. She tells them, "When you believe in yourself, when you are strong in your heart, then you can change the world."
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Dell: Dell is a cheerful and talented-ten-year old girl living in Kentucky. Her father was a coal miner but when the mine closed, her family had to leave their home in the Appalachian Mountains. Dell and her mother still visit their old neighborhood, bringing food and blankets to friends in need. Dell loves walking the high trails, which make her feel like she 'swallowed sunshine'. She tries hard to share that feeling by writing and singing her own songs. Maybe then she can show people the true beauty of her mountains.
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Consuelo: Consuelo is a generous and imaginative ten-year-old girl from Mexico City. Her family own a bakery, so their apartment above it always smells like something wonderful to eat! There are many hungry children living on the streets in Mexico City and their yearning faces touch Consuelo’s heart. She knows that there’s always food left over in the bakery; what would happen if she created a special cantina in the courtyard, and invited the children in? Maybe she could even teach some of them to become bakers! Sometimes, an idea can become a new life.
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Rahel: Rahel is a courageous ten-year-old living in Ethiopia. Lack of rain dries up the crops and food is scarce—but when the rain finally comes it brings mosquitoes carrying the terrible disease, malaria. One stormy night, a supply truck turns over; Rahel journeys with her family into the bush to help bring back aid to her neighbors. Rahel dreams of becoming a doctor so she can make a real difference when she grows up.
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Mosi: Mosi is a young Native American girl who is learning to balance between the two worlds she lives in. She is determined to keep the stories and traditions of her culture alive while being a girl living in a modern world.
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Lauryce: Lauryce is a sweet and thoughtful 10 year-old girl from New Orleans who learns the importance of helping neighbors and animals in need. She is determined to help raise money for animal shelters and children in Haiti.
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Nyesha: Nyesha is a young girl from Brooklyn, NY who is driven by a dream! She has a goal of owning a bright yellow food truck that serves delicious food to customers and those in need. Read her mini book included to learn more about how Nyesha's dream inspired her family and helped those in her community.
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Shola: Shola is a girl from Afghanistan who travels the path of hope! She is determined to bring laughter and joy to those that need it the most with her circus tricks!
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Tipi: Tipi - a masterful storyteller, is an artistic 10-year-old girl from Laos who loves to draw, dance and help her father, a skilled shadow puppet maker! She is determined to help her peers gain much-needed school supplies.
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Zelia: Zelia, a young girl from Brazil, is dedicated to sharing the important story of preserving the rain forest. Read her mini book included to learn how Zelia inspires environmental change in her community and in girls worldwide!”

I have Dell, I love all of them, but she’s my favorite, I just love her little face, and her personality.
Nahji. Love the whole idea !
I love the multi-cultural quality of the Hearts for Hearts dolls. My favorite is Rahel. Her story is inspiring and the doll is so unique.
My favorite doll is Nyesha. She reminds me of my grandaughter. Monique
I like Consuelo as I have been to Mexico and seen the little children on the streets begging for food ,
I love Nyesha. She has a dream and will follow that dream to the end. She’s detetmined. Love her hair!
Dell is super pretty
I like all the girls! Especially Mosi and Shola. They have such sweet faces. Thanks for the opportunity to win.
Nyesha =)
My favorite Hearts4Hearts doll is Consuelo because of her cute expression and big brown eyes and story. Thank you for the opportunity to win a doll!
I really like all of them but if I have to choose, I’d pick Consuelo. The reason why is because growing up, I never got to see much diversity with dolls or have a doll with a similar look to me. And I really like her story. My grandmother’s home in Mexico is right in the middle of all of the bakeries and every morning it smells like delicious bread because that is what our town is famous for so I like that her story involves Mexico and bakeries and that she wants to feed the less fortunate.
These dolls are all pretty, and have amazing eyes. Rahel is my favorite, she is the first Hearts4Hearts doll I ever saw, and I fell in love with her wild curly hair. I love the fact that Nahji has a nose ring, something not often seen on dolls. I am also charmed by Dell’s sweet freckles. If the stories are in a book, I would definitely want to read them, these girls all have aspirations, and are good role models for girls.
Wow, I didn’t realize they had that many dolls to choose from. I hadn’t really thought about owning a Heart for Hearts doll, but Dell seems to speak to me. Thank you Pixie Faire for giving us the chance of owning one of these girls.
My favorite H4H is Nahji because of the henna tattoos and the nose piercing. I also really like Tipi and Laurice.
I love: consuelo, rahel, mosi, nyesha, shola, tipi and especially Nahji.
We are a very diverse world and i appreciate the diverse representation that hearts 4 hearts id doing their best to represent.
Im a woman of color and people of color have been here for hundreds of years yet were never depicted in a positive manner. My longest living relative was born in 1897 was half dutch and half carribean; her daughter lived from 1922 to 2014; my mom born 1947 then myself born 1968. So this is beautiful to finally see ethic diverse dolls that have pretty skin tones and are very pretty.
Even though I am not from india, Nahiji is so cute with her nose ring as i have one too.😉
I would buy them all if i could.
Lauryce is my favorite
She reminds me of my granddaughter.
I like SHOLA best— she reminds me of a National Geographic Afghan woman’s cover photo from years ago, with very striking eyes like Shola’s, and she could be used as a conversations starting point for kids about the Afghan wars…
Nyesha is my favorite, although every doll is beautiful, and their stories are amazing. It was hard to pick just one, as this is an amazing collection. Pixie Faire has been such a joy in my life and this dolls story is one of the dreams i had myself, so it resinates with me. Thankyou for the opportunity to even try to win a doll, what a special treat!
I am really torn as to who is my favorite, I have it narrowed down to Dell and Tipi. I am so glad to see you featuring these dolls, they are nice quality dolls that are actually affordable!
I like Lauryce. I love the way she is concerned for other people. Many thanks for the give-away!
I just am so attracted to Mosi. All of the dolls have the dearest faces! Would love to have one.
My favorite is Zelia. I love the pony tail, fifties style.
Hard to choose, they are all so cute. I think I will go wit Dell.
I have family in the area she comes from.
Hard to choose, they are all so cute. I think I will go wit Dell.
My favorite is Dell…. Love the freckles!
They are all beautiful. Thanks so much for the chance to win.
Love Nahji Dark Brown Eyes and Dark Black Hair!
Mosi is my favorite. She is just adorable. Love the outfit and feather.
Wow, it’s hard to choose! I think Shola really stands out with her striking eyes. The region she comes from is interesting too, but then they all are!
My daughter likes Nyesha, she likes her story.
I relate to Dell as her story is very much like my father’s story. My grandfather was a coal miner. They had to leave their town when my father was 11. It was very difficult on them. I also love her freckles!
They are all adorable but Dell is my favorite. :o)
These little girls are excellent little sisters for American Girls and any other 18" dolls. They’re all so sweet it is hard to pick a favourite.
.
My favorite is Rahel because she pretty not saying the others are not its just that i love the curly hair.
All of these dolls are so cute and have fascinating stories. My favorites are Lauryce and Dell, mainly because of their willingness to help others.
Dell is my favorite as I can relate to the mountain life and outdoors. They are all beautiful and have a special story to tell but Dell is my favorite. Thanks for the opportunity!
My daughter’s favorite is Nyesha because she is pretty and she likes her story.
Tipi from Laos is my favorite, although, I find all of the Hearts for Hearts dolls cute! I like Tipi’s artistic background story and her jet black hair and beautiful eyes. Thanks for the contest, Cinnamon and Pixie Faire.
love them all but Mosi and Consuelo are my favorites
They are all beautiful! I love that they are so diverse. I would like to collect them all – for my granddaughter, of course!
I have never seen these dolls in Canada. They are lovely. It is a hard choice, but I think that I am going to go w Mosi.
I would like to win a Consuelo doll, or even buy one. I have never seen them for sale where I live. They are all lovely.
I have four of these dolls Dell, Consuelo, Lauryce and Zella. I love them all. Think my favorite is Lauryce. Love sewing for these dolls.
I like them all because each one represents the issues going on in our world today. My favorite one is Mosi, as this country seems to totally forgotten the native Americans and how much they have lost and there struggles in life today
I love all of the dolls, but I guess I’m partial to Dell since I’m from Ky. and the coal miners in our state are getting a bad deal. They need more people like Dell and her mother to help those in need.
I like Zelia as I’m very concerned about the rain forest. Hopefully she helps to bring awareness to young minds.
I like Dell. I like her story
Mosi. I have a Native American ancestor. Also,Rahel. My daughter is leaving for a missions trip tomorrow for Rahel’s birth country.
Rahel, the Ethiopian girl, has always been my favorite, but I don’t really have a clear reason why. I have always loved ethnic dolls – especially if they’re the opposite of me. I am white with red hair and am always attracted to African, Native American, Asian, and Oceanian dolls. I don’t know why, I just am. I guess that it’s learning about their culture that interests me the most.
I think they are all cute.
Zelia “speaking” for the endangered rain forest of Brazil is a nice touch.
Love these dolls but didn’t know where to find them.
I have most of these dolls but I love Mosi. She makes me smile.
I think Tipi is the most adorable! But I think my granddaughter would like Nahji. She’s been studying India and would love to see it.
Dell is my favorite, 5 generations ago my forefather rode a horse from Ole Kentuck to Oregon…
Love her sweet face with freckles!
I LIKE NYESHA…LOVE HER EYES
Lauryce is my favorite. I love the green eyes!
I like most of the dolls, but Dell looks the cheeriest so she’s my favorite.
When looking through the dolls Dell immediately caught my eye. I think she is adorable. I’ve never seen a doll with freckles in all the time I’ve been looking at dolls. I like the freckles. Her eyes are a beautiful blue. Her brown hair is lovely. She has a cute perky nose and soft pleasant lips. The entire look of Dell is very nice and easy on the eyes.
Dell is my favorite. Love the freckles!
They are all adorable but Dell is my favorite because she looks like my oldest granddaughter!
They are all so beautiful! Naji and Dell are my favorites (today!)
I think Dell is my fav. Love her story the best. But they are all pretty cute.
They’re all gorgeous but I think I like Tipi best. She looks like she’s actually making eye contact.
I think Dell is my favorite, she’s so cute! (but they all are to be honest)
Hmmm, I think I would have to say Nahji is my favorite. I like her ambition and her cute rhinestone nose piercing.
Lauryce is so adorable!! Thanks for the giveaway!
God Bless,
♡Rosabelle♡
Dell looks like my daughter and I like her best…they are all super cute
Dell has the sweetest face. Love the freckles!
I love all the dolls, but I think Consuelo is my favorite. I married into the Hispanic culture and feel it is important to have toys that represent the positive aspects of the culture.
I like Lauryce, she had blonde curly hair just like my grand-daughter. However, they are all nice and my grand-daughter would love to have one to play with.
Zelia is my favorite because I’m from South America and am glad there is a doll representing Brazil.
It’s impossible to chose a favorite. They are all beautiful.
Stitchin’ for Kids, which is a charitable organization that among other gifts, gives a Hearts for Hearts doll along with a wardrobe of a dozen or more outfits, loves all of the dolls, but my personal favorite is Tipi because of her direct cheerful look. Lisa
All the dolls are super sweet and cute. I think Dell is my favorite, just you average girl.
I like Dell because she’s a writer.
I like them all but I like Nahji the best because of her desire for an education. They all want to better something but with an education ones choices are so much wider. Education can lead to doing things one only dreams of.
I like them all, but Rahel is the best. The story lines are very interesting too.
It is almost impossible to say! They are all beautiful and their stories are full of kindness, love, hope, caring, and helping of others . Things this world is so badly in need of. I think I will pick Lauryce as we both share an affinity to the welfare of animals. Innocent beings on this Earth that are very often forgotten about!
All the dolls are lovely. However I like Dell because of her freckles and life story
I have Mosi, but I would love to have more of these dolls!
How does one choose since they are all so darling? However, I would choose Nahji to go with our family heritage. Thank you!
So hard to choose! After changing my mind several times, I choose Consuelo.
All of these dolls are so beautiful. So much character in those faces. Especially Tipi.
It is so hard to choose each are so beautiful, and I love the attention to the details of the life and clothing.
Shola captures my heart with her haunting eyes. As far as I know Shola and Mosi were never sold in my part of Canada which is a shame as these are beautiful dolls.
These have to be the cutest ever!!!
I love Mosi and her story!
Tipi is my favourite doll. She reminds me of myself when I was a child. I loved to draw. And now my grand daughter, who looks like tipi, is following my footsteps.
Lauryce is my favorite because she looks like my grand-daughter. Bella would love this doll!
Sorry to hard to choose, they are ALL precious. Did not know anything about these before, thank you for this info. I think they would fit into Smaritan’s box for Christmas and that I would like to do.
Dell is my favorite. Love the simple hairdo. And her face is so sweet.
I am drawn to Dell and Lauryce.
Dell is so pretty and the freckles are a great touch.
They’re all very beautiful, but my favorites are Dell and Nahji.
Thank you for the opportunity to win a doll, Nyesha is my favorite. I love her wavy hair and her look. Thank you for this contest
DELL! SHE REMINDS ME of my twin sis,
Nahji is my favorite. She is so beautiful. I own Dell and Lauryce and would love to add Naji to my collection.
My favorite is Zelia – LOVE that red hair.
