About Ruby Red Siblies™

Ruby Red Siblies™ share a similar body design and pose-ability to the original Ruby Red Fashion Friends™ dolls, but in a scaled-down, 12-inch size. They are a fun size to fit in a small bag and take along for adventures! The original 5 dolls that have been released include 4 girls, each with a colorful accent in her hair, and one boy. They are even more affordable than their larger counterparts, and make a great introduction into the world of ball-jointed-dolls (BJD) for new collectors or younger playmates (recommended for ages 6+).

The Pixie Faire pattern collection for Siblies dolls is growing nearly everyday! With their unique petite size, most patterns will be specifically designed to fit these dolls just right! 

Get the Pattern: Shown above modeled by Ruby Red Siblies™ Kelsey, the 123 Mulberry St Babydoll Dress is a must-have wardrobe basic for any Siblies doll! The dress is designed for knit fabrics, but the skirt section can be done in a woven too. It has a loose fitting design with both short sleeves and 3/4 length longer sleeves. The dress is easy to sew and easy to put on with a simple hook and loop tape closure in the back. 

This dress pattern has been designed specifically for a 12" Siblies doll!

 Siblies™ Doll Compared To Similar Dolls

When comparing the Siblies height (center doll) to the larger Fashion Friends dolls on the right, the 12" Siblies are somewhere around chin-height, perfect as a little sibling! The Fashion Friends doll in the picture above measures 15-inches tall, and is wearing Gotchies from the 123 Mulberry St. pattern designed to fit 14.5 to 15" dolls. The other doll shown on the left, is a 13" Little Darling doll by Dianna Effner. In addition to the 1-inch height difference, the proportions of the Little Darling and the Siblies are quite different. The Siblies are much slimmer, with shorter legs, though their arm length is about the same.

Wondering What Shoes Will Fit A Ruby Red Fashion Friends™ Doll?

Just like The Ruby Red Fashion Friends™ doll, the Siblies have a long narrow foot, with a tiny space in between their big toe and second toe, allowing them to wear flip flops! It may be a little hard to tell in the photos, but the Siblies doll’s feet are about 1/8" longer, and 1/16" wider than the Little Darling doll feet. They may be able to share some shoes, if they are designed to be on the roomier side for Little Darlings. The shoes that Kelsey arrived in however, are made quite roomy for her, and are much too long for the Little Darling doll.

Meet Kelsey, one of the Siblies!  She is Kayla's younger sister! Kelsey plays all different sports, loves the outdoors, and hiking with her family and friends. Kelsey has 9 joints so you can stand and pose her in all different ways. She has light brown eyes, and dark hair with purple streaks. Kelsey comes with a black orchid t shirt, matching orchid shorts, and purple star printed leggings. She has sparkly purple flats, and an orange belly bag.

Meet Sydney, one of the Siblies!  She is the little sister of Hanna! Sydney loves to dance. dance, dance! The louder the music the better, and she loves bopping and twirling with her friends and family. Sydney has 9 joints, so she can do different dances moves, and you can pose her in all different ways. She has deep brown eyes, and a dark bob hairstyle. Sydney comes dressed in a ballet camisole, a pink tutu, printed leggings. She has sparkly pink flats, and a fancy ribbon headband.

Meet Rory, one of the Siblies! Rory loves soccer & baseball. He never sits still! Rory loves to play outside with his best friends and ride bikes all over the neighborhood. Rory has 9 joints so you can stand and pose him in all different ways. He has deep blue eyes and sandy blonde hair. Rory comes dressed in a Wildman T-shirt, camouflage shorts, sturdy boots and a matching painters cap.

Meet Callie, one of the Siblies! She is Sara's little sister! Callie loves to spend time at the beach with her Friends and Family. She’s an animal lover, and volunteers at the local shelter to take care of all the rescue animals. Callie has 9 joints so you can stand and pose her in all different ways. She has light blue eyes, blonde pig tales. Callie comes dressed in a pink printed sundress, lace leggings, sparkly rainbow flats, and a red cross body bag.

Meet Bailey, one of the Siblies!  She is Bella's little sister! Bailey is very creative and loves arts and crafts. She loves to make small gifts for her family and friends. Bailey has 9 joints, so you can stand and pose her in all different ways. She has turquoise blue eyes and long auburn hair. Bailey comes dressed in a blue polka dot sundress, pink leggings, sparkly pink strap shoes, and a woven pink wide brim hat.
