I love sewing! I taught myself to sew after failing that portion of Home Economics. Dad bought me a Featherweight sew. machine and that began my love affair with sewing.
I’ve sewed for my family, for gifts and taught my granddaughter to sew.
I’m sure there are things to learn, skills to perfect.
I’d like the book to pass on to my granddaughter who has a little girl of her own.
Sewing is my creative outlet as always. I just do it on a smaller scale, doll clothes.

The best thing about sewing is that unlike most things that need doing and get undone, dishes, bed making, dusting, etc. a sewn project will last for many years and bring a smile each time you look at it. Also it can be a real stress release if I just relax and let it.
