I love sewing because it is a great way to relax from the busy world of today. I can make things for myself and for others and see the delight on others faces when I give them something custom tailored for them.
I learned to sew and love sewing while watching a wonderful older lady take scraps and make beautiful outifts for me. She sewed with love, and it enveloped my heart. By the time I was in high school, I was doing the same thing for special little girls. My newest joy has been helping young girls learn to sew and love it. This would be a great book to share with them as I help them know how to make their own masterpieces!
I have been sewing and quilting for a long time but just started 18" doll clothes in the past year. I have used many of LJ patterns, tips, and ideas. It’s been a lot of fun and I like to see what others are creating too! The ideas are endless!
I love to sew because it enables me to get exactly what I want – usually better made and more affordable, too.
I recently started to try to teach myself and my daughters how to sew. The girls want to learn so that the can make clothes for their AG dolls. Your new book would be extremely helpful!
