I love to figure out how things are made. I totally enjoy all the ‘engineering’ reading a pattern provides.
I also have a mission to only give handmade items.

My grandmother taught me to sew and in doing so gave me innumerable hours of enjoyment. I would like to pass this skill along to my two little granddaughters. What better way of doing it than to teach them to sew doll clothes!

Congratulations on the publication of your book. I’m sure it will become a treasured resource to many.

I would consider myself a new sewer at the machine and I have a lot to learn! I love sewing because I have daughters and we love wearing dresses and skirts and sewing my own allows ME to determine the length (longer preferably) and it allows for me to put some matching cloths together between my daughters and myself and make matching outfits for my daughter’s 18" doll inexpensively.

I love to sew because I like making unique things for my kiddo!

I have been sewing and quilting since I was 9 (my mom taught me how to sew). I now have a 10yr old grand daughter that I am teaching to sew – and we’re starting by making American Girl doll clothes for her doll, Kit Kitteridge. Your patterns are top notch – easy to sew – very fashionable – and the instructions are great. Keep up the good work, and congrats on the new book! I hope I win it!
