Hi Everyone! It's November and time to talk about Sewing For The Holidays! This month I invite you all to a month-long sewing party - yay! Together we can plan our projects, set goals, do a few giveaways, and have a fun time while doing it all together!
The topic, or should I say "party" will be divided into four sessions:

Well its a sad state of affairs when I am planning to finish some applique jackets I planned when my children played with their original American Girl dolls in the earliest 90’s (my daughters are now 38 and 36 years old now) . What a holiday surprise when my daughter sees them for her daughters (my granddaughters now 9 and 10 years old).
I have two craft shows coming up and hope to have some fancy dresses ready
I have a show at the end of November and this will be an excellent time for me to make some last minute “special outfits” for the holidays. I like to make value priced outfits that look nice because I get a lot of little girls who shop with their own money and I try to help them stretch their dollar with affordable outfits or accessories.
I want to finish the pajama and robe outfit I began last month. I also like to look for doll size ornaments or products during this time of year. I have found great ornaments that have become doll pets, accessories, or decorations.
Just saw the movie HARRIET and it was fabulous! The featured dresses were to die for and they reminded me of Shari Fuller’s patterns. Now I can’t wait to create one or more of them for my Addy doll! The elastic course will definitely come in handy!
