Sewing Tiny Purses: Part One

Hi Everyone! Welcome to the course, Sewing Tiny Purses!

Over this 4-part series, with Shari and I will bring you some tips and tricks to help take the fear out fo sewing these tiny little treasures! As we begin, I'll be sharing a fun video with you showcasing many of the bags we have at Pixie Faire filled with personalized accessories and tiny props to give each purse it's own story.

Before we move on to Part One, I wanted to get your input so we can bring you exactly what you're looking for! Let us know in the comments below, what you'd like to see addressed when it comes to making tiny purses. Is it the fabric scale, the hardware, sewing machine settings, or something else?

Ok, Are you ready to see a few of my favorite little purses? Lets' jump right in!

Is there a method to re-size 18" doll patterns to smaller sizes using the doll’s hand size? Sort of like using the doll’s head size for hats resizing.

This is a wonderful topic, and timely for me. I’ve found the purses and bags to be a great seller at craft shows, and have been focused on making some of these bags for every show. I’m looking forward to seeing what you have to show us!
