Perfect for Spring Fashion, the Chrysanthemum Dress, by BuzzinBea, 18-inch doll clothes pattern! The design features a...
The pattern was easy to follow and went together smoothly. I took the other reviewer's advice and added a little to the length. I don't have a serger and prefer more finished edges, so I added to the width of the ruffles and ruffle lining so that I could turn the edges in. I wish I would have thought to do that to the bodice, and I could have enclosed the edges with the lining - I'll do that next time. I also may add a little to the length of the criss cross straps so that I can angle their edges to match the angle of the neckline. I loved the sleeves and the fit was perfect for my doll. Looking forward to using many times!
This pattern was easy to sew and the directions were very clear. However, if I were to sew it again, I would make the skirt longer. Even the longer skirt version is mini.
