Although this is a pajama pattern it has the neckline and gathered body I have tried to find. I have just lengthened it to make a nightgown! I sew for an organization that supports abused children while they wait for a foster placement. Since the children come with none of their toys they requested new dolls and clothes. Each of our dolls are given with a fancy dress, play clothes and nightwear. This nightgown pattern makes a garment that is easy for little hands to manage and has a forgiving fit. A big thank you to the designer!
Instructions well written and easy to follow. Only issue I had was that the pants have a very low rise and so on the second go around I did add about an inch. I also found that the bottom hem of the top could use a little extra length. I did appreciate being able to do the neck trim in either a knit or woven - and the woven came out really nicely and didn't stand out at an odd angle like can happen sometimes. Overall, super cute and I am sure I will use this pattern many more times.
Beautiful pattern instructions clear and well fitted
I have really enjoyed using the pattern and instructions. They have pictures of each step as well as instructions for each step. The PJs are so cute. I made them in a cotton material but I think knit would work well too.
