The Pretty Pleats dress is a Classic Style with a modern twist your 18 inch doll is sure to love!
The bodice front has two little pockets and a faux button placket with four decorative buttons going down the center front. The bodice is lined. The skirt of the dress is circular and pleated all around.
The belt is a separate piece with a slide buckle. It closes in the back with an invisible zipper.
This PDF sewing pattern from Fashioned by Rebecca, is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®. Please note that this dress was designed to fit the newer American Girl® dolls and will not properly fit the older and plumper dolls.

- 10" x 10" scrap piece of fabric for bodice lining
- 7"-9" invisible zipper
- ribbon buckle with 1/2" slide
- four 1/4" decorative buttons
- Iron and pressing tools
- hand sewing needle
