Went together without problems except I made it in a medium weight denim and couldn't turn the straps right side out. I tossed the first set and with the second set I folded the edges in and sewed the right side along the folded edges. Worked fine.
Great pattern, fits perfect, however sides instructions say to cut 2 of fabric, contrast and interfacing, which left me one of each left over. Also straps advised to turn to right side press and sew 1/4 in on both edges which should be 1/8 in as the straps are only about 1/2 in wide when finished..
Pattern was easy to follow.
Backpack turned out darling. One suggestion would be to add velcro to the flap and backback front
