All went well with the pattern pieces, it was easy to follow d
The extensive detail of this pattern makes up a very cleanly finished dress. The instructions are clear. The dress takes a long time, but the pattern was flexible enough to allow my own shortcuts. I could not make the metal eyelets on test fabrics so finally just did hand buttonhole stitches on the dress. I'm very proud of the finished dress and wish I could include a photo.
I purchased this pattern on Etsy when it was available and am thrilled to see it on the Pixie Faire Platform too. This spring dirndl pattern is one of my favorites. The instructions are easy to follow and well explained, and the pieces are well drafted. I made it for the older Kirsten doll, and the fit is perfect. The little details, like the lines on the apron and the trim on the headpiece really make it shine. I have really enjoyed making this dress.
