My experience was wonderful!!!!
This pattern was fun to make, easy to do and true to size. I like the step by step directions. I have been sewing for a number of years and I like the summery sheet. I will continue to be a loyal customer.
The directions are easy to follow. The basic body and sleeves of the shirt were fine (but barely big enough with t-shirt fabric) but the neck band was way too short. Even though I cut it on the bias as instructed, it was about 1/3 too short. It wasn't that difficult to fix, though, because I just measured the neckline and made the band approximately that size (just a bit smaller so it could stretch, as the directions said).
Hi Theresa, Thanks for your feedback. Knit fabrics can vary greatly in the amount of stretch making the binding piece a bit tricky to set a measurement for. It sounds like the fabric you chose may have had less stretch needing a bit longer piece. I'll look at adding a stretch guide to help avoid this issue when determining the proper length for the neck binding.
Easy to make. Instructions were very good.
