Create pocket style bags to store your projects in progress. The pattern includes two sizes - 12 x 12 and 8 x 10. The bag is created with a layer of foam stabilizer, quilted for stability. Practice basic quilting techniques to create a variety of different looks! The pocket layer is formed with sewable clear vinyl, fabric strips and a zipper (sewn in flat - very easy!). The bag is finished with basic binding and a cute handle!

Supplies Needed:
Supplies are listed below separately for each size bag, you can make both sizes in the same 3 fabrics with three 1/2 yard cuts, 30 inches of zipper by the yard tape with 2 pulls, one package of foam, and one roll of vinyl.
Large Bag
- 2 Fat Quarters (1-Bag Front, 1-Bag Back)
- 1/4 yard fabric (Binding and Zipper Strips)
- Zipper 16” length, size 3 or larger
- Foam Stabilizer 1/2 yard (13” x 13” square needed)
- Clear Sew-able Vinyl 1 roll (11” x 13” needed)
Small Bag:
- 2 Fat Quarters (1-Bag Front, 1-Bag Back)
- 1/4 yard fabric (Binding and Zipper Strips)
- Zipper 12” length, size 3 or larger
- Foam Stabilizer 1/4 yard (9 x 11 square needed)
- Clear Sew-able Vinyl 1 roll (9” x 9” needed)
For Both Projects:
- Thread (all purpose or cotton thread)
- Sewing Machine
- Recommended Presser Feet - Walking Foot, Non-stick foot, zipper foot
- Iron and Pressing Tools
- Wonder clips, Spray Basting, or optionally a fusible foam stabilizer
