I like most everything about camping. I especially remember with fondness sitting around the campfire with my family, singing campfire songs and hymns until the fire burned out and it was time to go to bed.

Best thing about camping is getting away and being in nature. Love being disconnected from the world for a few days, with no cell service, etc.
This brings back memories. I miss the days when I spent as much time as possible in the woods or the mountains. I always hated coming out of the wilds at the end of summer to go back to school.
As an adult, my most memorable trip was a pack trip with llamas. It was nice to have them carry the gear. We camped both above and below the tree line. On top of the mountains we could see forever. Unfortunately, we saw a forest fire that was eating up Glacier Nation Park. Fire does have it’s place in the wilderness. It is interesting to watch the different eco systems the land goes through as the plants grow back.
