I am a dog person.
Thank you Cinnamon for all of the marvelous giveaways and drawings. They are great fun! — I love so many animals that it is hard to pick just one. I’ve had lots of pets over the years, and have always been an avid zoo aficionado — Dogs, cats, rescued birds, turtles, frogs, lizards and fish all fascinate me. They are each so beautiful and unique. I guess my favorite pet was a cocker spaniel because she had a very sweet and happy nature. We were inseparable for 16 years, until she passed. Not only was she a great sewing buddy; but she also loved long walks, runs, and riding in a basket on my bicycle. Lately I’ve been very drawn to cats also. My daughter and my best friend both have the sweetest, cuddliest cats that I’ve ever seen. Good luck everybody!

My favorite animal is the cat. I have had cats all my life. Currently we have four. The oldest one, our 14 year old Blueberry, is actually the neighborhood “dog”. He patrols the area and is fierce defending his little girls, my granddaughters. Next we have Cappy, which is short for Captain America. She is part ferule cat and has an odd personality. And last, we have Twinkle and Blackberry who are brother and sister.
Because we lived on a four lane highway, I could not have any four legged pets.I wanted a dog so bad. When I got married I got a poodle terrier mix from a family whose son abused the dog. I made sure the rest of his life was heaven on earth. I’ve always had dogs ever since.
