Freebie Friday (April 8th) Help Us Spread The Word

Hi everyone,

On Friday (April 8th) we are launching a new permanently free pattern by designer Kristin Rutten creator of the Matilda's Closet and AptOne8 brands. Be sure to stop by on Friday and get your free copy - it's the perfect project for summer!

More About Kristin Rutten, Matilda's Closet and AptOne8, (in her own words): I discovered long ago that the key to my happiness lies in the creative process. I also believe that everyone is creative … sometimes it just takes a little help to bring that creativity out into the open. My goal when designing my Matilda’s Closet and AptOne8 patterns is to make it as fun and easy as possible for you to create original clothing, accessories and furniture for the dolls and doll-lovers in your life. Designing Matilda Jo Originals patterns for you brings me a great deal of happiness. If you are proud of the items you create, enjoy the process and can express a bit of your own creativity along the way, then that makes me happy, too. Happy creating!

More About The Pattern: No pool party is complete without a fun beach towel! This PDF download includes pattern pieces and step-by-step photo instructions for creating an appliqued terry cloth beach towel in your choice of four designs - popsicle, flamingo, beach scene and "atta girl!". Also included are three different finishing options, including an easy finish, a self-edged option or a bias tape-edged version. Also included in this pattern is a time-saving method for cutting out your applique pieces, as well as step-by-step photo instructions for using the satin stitch method of machine applique. This pattern is part of the Pool Party Collection by Matilda Jo Originals, creator of the AptOne8 line of PVC furniture.
