Double Freebie Friday (June 3 2016) Help Us Decide

Hi everyone,

On Friday (June 3rd) we are going to do a special Double Freebie Friday! Be sure to spread the word!

First, we are offering a new permanently free knitting pattern (The Suzy Slippers) from Jen Reeves the artist behind A Little Knitty

Second, we are going to have you vote to help us decide which pattern from Meg at Miche Designs should be free as well. This will be a one-day-only Friday Freebie.

More About Jen Reeves & A Little Knitty (in her own words),

Hi! I’m Jen, and you could say I’m A Little Knitty! I started knitting when I was 12, although it didn’t really become an obsession until I was 28. When my son was born in 2008, I created some knit hats for him and things just took off from there!

I currently teach knitting classes for Auburn, WA Parks & Rec, opened a small yarn shop inside the Liberty Jane on Main store, and publish my doll knitting patterns through PixieFaire. When I’m not knitting (which is rare) I am out playing with my family. I have been married to Brian for 12 years and we have an 8 year old son, Nolan, and 5 year old daughter, Piper. During the summer we are continually camping and we love to discover new places together!

More About Miche Designs: Artist Meg Paul started collecting American Girl dolls when she was eleven after receiving her first doll as a gift from her Grandma. Meg taught herself to sew using Liberty Jane patterns and has always loved to work in miniature. She is passionate about designing beautiful shoe patterns for doll enthusiasts.

A Sneak Peak At The New Suzy Slippers Pattern:

A perfect pair of slippers for the beginning knitter. Cozy and stylish, they knit up in a snap - the perfect item for your 18 Inch Doll such as American Girl®.

I am so excited to see Miche Designs shoes this week! I’ve been eyeing these for awhile and admire the imagination and talent that went into her designs. Thank you Meg! Also I’m looking forward to trying the knit slippers, (might need a little help) but, as with many of the patterns, I like learning a new skill. Thanks Jen!

Christine

All of the shoes are wonderful, but I think the clogs are my favorite. The knitting pattern will be fun too.

Danny

Thanks for the shoe patterns. They complete the outfits that I have sewn. The slippers will be especially cute with the PJ’s I have made.

Lynda

Wow…another hard choice to make. They are all so cute it’s really difficult to choose! The knit slippers are adorable too and I have been looking for a pattern just like that! A big thank you to both designers and to Pixie Faire!

I LOVE Miche Designs shoes! What a special treat! I purchased the no sew Mayli Snadals pattern but have never been able to find the required products to make them up. I vote for the Chic Sandals as they will be great summer staples and they don’t require any super specialty art supplies to make them! Thank you for the chance to win any pattern and I will be downloading the knit slippers as well as they are different than the pixie slippers I have made before, and everyone needs more than 1 pair of slippers! ?
