My biggest sewing challenge is not the sewing itself. I frequently search for new techniques and how to videos. My challenge is making the decisions about the fabric type and colors for an outfit.
My biggest challenge is room. My sewing room is also a small bed room. My sewing machine sets on a table my dad made me years ago between a bed and a chest of drawers. I have things strung out on the bed. I use a TV tray with an ironing pad on it so I can iron as I sew. When I need to cut something using a rotary cutter I put my cutting board on top of the ironing pad. I have plastic storage drawers for notions, etc. Material is stored in different locations.
My biggest sewing challenge is making shoes for my doll outfits. I can never get them both to come out right! I love having shoes for an outfit, but they’re too expensive to buy.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding appropriately scaled fabrics for doll clothes.
