I’d love to take a P.F. course on millinery techniques for dolls. Or making miniature hat embellishments. It sounds easy- just use smaller materials but often the trims are too thick or don’t fold small enough to look good in a smaller scale. Tiny flowers- I’d love that.

I’d love to take a class that taught me how to use non-doll sized, common basic fabric store notions to create doll clothes. I am always frustrated with what I can find at the only fabric store in the area.
I would love to take a Pixie Faire class that shows me how to make the complete ensemble, not just the dress or gown. I want to be able to know which colors and type of fabrics were used for certain time periods. I want to know how to locate the fabrics.

My Favorite Pixie Faire course was the Knits one because I learned stuff I use all the time on everything ever since….but I also like the sew alongs because Cinnamon is there to show me how to do stuff I wouldn’t normally try without her (altho i gave the jean jacket away for a christmas present before I posted it – I will make another one)

I create my own fashion designs (via drawings) and would love to be able to bring them to life by displaying them on my American girl dolls! Having the ability to 1. Learn the skill of sewing (something I’ve dreamed of for years) and 2. Be able to take my art work and bring it to life would be a dream come true! As a fashion blogger, this would be a huge step!

I have some American Girls dolls and I have some Gotz dolls that my brother got my while serving in the military in Germany. I’ve taken all the Sewing with Cinnamon courses and I’ve loved them all—especially those that addressed sewing in bulk and branding our business. I’d love a course on making hats/millinery.

My favorite class so far was the one about sewing with knits. The tips from it are the ones I use the most often. I also liked sew-alongs for more advanced items and would like to do more of those with perhaps coat linings and other couture finishes. As for new classes….I’d love to know if there are any tricks to sewing the smaller items. I am an experienced sewer, but elastic waistbands in the Wellie Wisher size, for example, cause me problems every time. I’d also like tips on how to deal with underarm bulk, teeny hems, etc. in the smaller sizes.

Choose one! I’m sure that there would be an amazing amount to learn in any class. For me its shoes that are causing me fits. They need to match! And there are as many shoes sizes for dolls as people.
