Welcome to DAY 12 of our 12 Days of Christmas celebration!
For our 12th Day Of Christmas giveaway, we are GIVING AWAY the brand new American Girl 2021 Girl of the Year doll Kira Bailey™ to one lucky winner! The winner will receive the brand new 18-inch doll, in her original packaging, mailed to her directly from Pixie Faire! Read below to see all the details of what will be included (Note: if you already have Kira, and would like a gift card, we can accommodate that wish too!)
Who is Kira? Here's the description from the American Girl® website (images are also from the American Girl Website):
Kira is thrilled when she gets to spend a month at her aunt’s Bailey Wildlife Sanctuary in Australia helping care for koalas, wombats, and kangaroos. She’s always loved caring for animals, but it’s not all cuddles with cute joeys. When the baby wombats escape and there’s a predator on the loose, it’s up to Kira and her new friend Alexis to attempt a midnight rescue in the Australian bush!
We couldn't be more excited with the Australian theme for this new character! Many years ago we released the Liberty Jane Outback Libby colleciton of limited edition outfits and then later released as doll clothes sewing patterns. These designs feature the ruggedness of the Australian Outback mixed with the soft feminine Aussie fashion touch! Here's a peek at a few popular designs, we think they would be a perfect addition to Kira's darling collection!
Plus we have many other patterns that can be used to create the perfect pieces for her adventurous style! Here are a few popular ones:
But wait there's more!
Back in 2014 we launched our very own fiction books to bring our Outback Libby character to life! Follow the story of Libby and her friend Killara as they start a grand adventure in the heart of the Outback.
We have two kid-friendly stories available on Kindle - we'd love for you to check them out!

I’d love to see more patterns of all styles offered at Pixie Faire for the AG 6" Mini Dolls. I have a collection of them and there are so few patterns available to fit them. I keep thinking I’m going to sit down and try to design some on my own, but haven’t done it yet. I love all the patterns Pixie Faire offers and I have a whole bunch of them, but the Mini dolls need more designs and more detailed designs. I know they are small, but Barbie clothes are very detailed and there are lots of them, so I think it’s possible to make clothes that are more fitted for the Mini’s. This is a hard statement to make because there are so many variety of patterns from so many designers already available from Pixie Faire but let me think about this a moment. Ok, I’d love to see more patterns offered at Pixie Faire for the Bitty Baby dolls. As I look through the already growing collection of patterns for Bitty Baby I would love to see a bigger selection such as layettes, sleeper gowns etc. Bitty Baby dolls remind me of when I was growing up and Mom would pass on the newborn baby clothes to us girls to use on our baby dolls.
I would like to see more beach costumes

I’d love to see some historically accurate Victorian-wear patterns offered at Pixie Faire for 18" dolls. Something that incorporates the truly wild style of Victorian clothing, with mismatched patterns and trims and such. Generally patterns for Victorian-style clothes mimic the austerity and primness people mistakenly associate with Victorian clothing, rather than the absolute insanity of the style that was actually prevalent during that time period. A corset for 18" dolls would be amazing, too.

I would love to see more what is trending for today girls on American girl doll. When I sew I always make 4 of everything. Because I make one for myself and give away the other 3 to daughters of co-workers who are nurses. I love the excitement on there face when they get what I made them.
I would love it if PixieFaire started offering patterns for the 23” My Twinn dolls. When I was little my friend and I each had a My Twinn doll to be the mother in our family of American Girl dolls. They were perfect for the purpose, but it was/is so hard to find clothes/patterns for them, especially historical!
Thank you for the amazing 12 days of Christmas Pixie Faire, and for everything else you do! Happy New Year!
