American Girl and Wellie Wishes are just that they are girls not grown ups. The patterns should be trendy, and up to date. The formals a little more trendy for girls and tweens. The historical patterns would be better as girl and tween fashion in history. I really just feel uneasy about these little girls trying to look like grownups. My children like playing wiith there friends.
Even Barbies for their age should dress the same as they do. Trendy and fashionable for little girls or tweens. More trendy fashion. T shirts, shirts, pants, leggins, shorts, skirts, nightwear. Fashions of travelling to different places in the US and abroad. My 10 year old loves the Paris designs, the UK designs, Sound of Music, Austria, Australia, Latino, Native People. Casual everyday school outfits, roller skating and ice skating outfits. They also love fashion for the many musicals, Mary Poppins, Wizard of Oz, even Shirley Temple movies. Shoes, boots, jewelry, outerwear. She also likes the sport outfits, like hiking, cheerleading, basketball, baseball, soccer, workout, ballet, always appropriate, horseback riding. Yes TV Characters. Formals for only birthday parties, maybe father and daughter dance. Of course the fairy tales costumes and Disney characters are also preferable. Barbies can also use the same outfits. No high heels for any of fashions. Sneakers, sandals, sunday shoes wear, boots ( yes some quite trendy but that is enough
