My favorite sewing tip or trick is to iron as you sew. My seamstress aunt once said when sewing you should think of your iron the same as you do your sewing machine. Essential to your finished product.
My favorite sewing tip is to sew for the joy of sewing and creating. I broke my arm in October and have been laid up for 2 months. Boy have I missed sewing! It will be a couple more weeks before I get back to it. I am dying to make a Marry Poppins Returns outfit for my doll.
Since I do a lot of embroidery I always keep some small pieces of tear away stabilizer nearby my sewing machine to put between the fabric and the sewing foot for stability. Keeps the project right where I want it.
My favorite sewing tip or trick is.your iron is your friend. Press everything and between each step for a cleaner more professional look.
My favorite sewing tip is to use the right size needle for your fabric.
