My favourite sewing tip is to use newsprint paper for tracing patterns onto. This saves the patterns and allows them to be used a lot longer than they normally would… especially if you sew that pattern a lot :)
my best tip is to press everything before starting. Fabric, laces, interlining etc.
I love to use African porcupine quills. One end is really thin, sharp, and flat and great for arranging gathers as you sew, it slides right under the presser foot. The other end is rounded and great for turning sleeves,etc right side out. The porcupines release the quills naturally. These can be found on etsy.
My favorite tip is to use Command picture hanging strips as seam guides.
My favorite sewing tip is to be curious & keep on trying. Mistakes may happen but dont give up.
