My favorite sewing tip is to check out second hand stores for fabric. You can get a lot of fancy dresses out of a prom gown or wedding dress even if there are stains. Plus second hand t-shirts already have matching or coordinating ribbing.

My favorite sewing tip is to use a pair of hemostats when turning tiny doll bodices. It’s wonderfully easy! Also use a point presser or clapper when pressing tiny seams open!
My favorite sewing tip (that I’ve learned) is to take a hammer to denim seams before you sew over them. Really give the seam a smashing – it makes the sewing sooo much easier.
