My favorite sewing tip is using a stabilizer for knits.
My favorite sewing tip is after I have either made a couple of garments or stitched a bunch of quilt blocks is to clean out my bobbin area and if I have sewed for about 8 hours change my needle. I find I have far few sewing machine issues this way.
My favorite tip is to press, press, press when sewing. This was drilled in to me in the 60’s by my home ec classes. Had a great teacher.
My favorite sewing tip is to make 2 doll dress bodices, one out of fashion fabric, the other out of a suitable lining fabric. Sew the two right sides together along the neckline and armholes. Turn right side out. Press.
My favorite sewing trick is when finishing edges with bias tape to fasten one side to the right side of your fabric. Fold it over to the wrong side and top stitch on the right side or “stitch in the ditch”
