My favorite sewing tip it to soak bright fabrics AND notions such as bias tape that will touch the doll’s “skin” in warm salt water (then rinse) before making the garment. This saves a lot of heartache and time when the garment stays on the doll for an extended period of time.
My favorite sewing trick is two-fold: always, always, always wash and iron your fabric, especially wovens, and keep that iron nearby and ready to press seams. It makes a huge difference in the end!
The girls can never have enough dresses. What’s better than a free patter? The already made item. Thank you ladies once again for the wonderful giveaway. Happy Holidays everyone.
My favorite sewing tip for a newbie is to use a magnetic seam guage to keep sewing lines straight. Made all the difference for me.
Read all directions before starting and make sure you have everything you need.
