My favorite sewing tip is to trace a copy of the pattern in my desired size first so I don’t mess up when cutting the real one and so I understand how the pattern works better.
My favorite sewing tip or trick is to have all items necessary close to my sewing machine so I will not need to go find needful things. I also like to have a small iron and pressing mat by my machine, as pressing at each step is important.
My favorite sewing tip or trick, especially for doll clothes, is not to be afraid of trying something new-different fabrics, embellishments, and patterns.
My favorite tip is to always take advice. My mother in law worked in a sewing factory for over 50 years and I learned so much from her. Her tips and tricks have been great for saving time as well as producing a better made product.
