My favorite sewing tip is always sew on the flat before constructing the final last seams and always serge all pieces when possible or zigzag the edges of seam allowance.
My favorite sewing tip is to spray starch fabric and iron fabric before cutting out pattern. My main reason for this is: ironing pattern pieces after cutting often shrinks the pieces and the pattern doesn’t go together well. When this is done prior to cutting, the pieces fit together perfectly. The outfit you sew together will look like it just stepped out of a magazine. A prosperous New Year to all!
My favorite sewing tip or trick is to cut out a couple of the items from the same pattern in different materials, and then sew them all at once
My favorite sewing tip or trick is to be nicer to yourself. You are more critical of your work than anyone else.
“My favorite sewing tip or trick is when sewing with knits put a little piece of interfacing underneath the seam, especially in the beginning so your stitches do not bunch up! Hope this tip is helpful to you as it was for me.
