When working with faux fur:
1.trace the pattern on the wrong side of the fabric with ink.
use a craft knife or box cutter to gently cut through the lines. Pull the pattern piece away from the main fabric. The fur will separate easily. This is great for long fur that you want to hang over the edge of the hem. No more cutting off the fur edges with scissors. The pieces look better and there is less fiber mess to clean up when you’re done.

Make sure if you are using prints that they are small enough to make the item or dress seem appropriate for the print.
